He worked as a resident in orthopaedics department in PIMS-Pondicherry under Dr.James Gnanadoss before entering his post graduation course. On completing his post graduation he joined as a senior resident in department of Orthopaedics – Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore and later moved to Vinayaka Mission Medical College hospital, Salem as an assistant professor in orthopaedics.
In 2011 he got admitted to spine surgery fellowship in Ganga hospitals, Coimbatore through National board of examination entrance exam. He got exposure to all kinds of basic and complex spine surgey during his 21/2 year tenure in Ganga hospital under the able guidene of Dr. Rajasekaran. At present he is a consultant spine surgeon at SKS Hospitals.

SKS Hospital is accredited by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi to conduct training in the following specialties:
Admission is through NEET-PG (for MBBS graduates) & DNB-PDCET (for Post Diploma candidates) examinations and centralised counselling conducted by NBE.
Admission is through NBE FET (Fellowship Entrance Test) and centralised counselling conducted by NBE.
All departments are fully staffed with experienced teaching faculty and infrastructure. Students have access the latest editions of reference books and peer reviewed Indian and International journals from the Library. Most journals can also be accessed online through the campus WiFi. While the medium of instruction is English, out of state students are provided Tamil tuition to enable them to communicate effectively with patients. Rigorous academic training and adequate clinical experience prepares our students for the centralised examinations conducted by the National Board. Accommodation on a twin sharing basis is available within walking distance of the hospital, subject to availability.

Journal clubs help our post-graduate students and residents become more familiar with the advanced literature and research taking place in medicine. In addition, the journal clubs help improve the their skills of understanding while debating current topics of active interest under the guidance of the consultants. The meeting is open to all allopathic doctors and students. Regular weekly journal club meetings take place at the departmental level.
Our Library is well populated with the latest medical books and subscribes to the leading International and Indian Journals.
